[1] Aug 12, 1910 Mr. Caspar Whitney New York My dear Mr. Whitney I had a talk with the owner of this property and he will sell a number of lots for $5.00 a foot, these lots are 200 feet deep and are as nice as any around the lake not so many people but better view and close to the railroad you can buy with in two hundred feet of us if you like and Mr. Goodwin is here with us and we just came back from a trip up in the Mts where we were lucky enough to see two big silver-tip-bear and [2] we watched them feed for a half hour or more it was fine to see them in their own country. and I hope you and Mrs. Whitney had a beautiful trip through Mexico.
