Essay/Description

Moccasins with hard sole; fully beaded uppers, red background with white border with multiple geometric designs at vamp and perimeter. Beads in white border (white lined, red, blue, and green) are older beads probably secured from older items. Tapered cuff.

Curatorial Remarks

These moccasins have a buffalo hoof beaded design on the top and are from the 1920s or 1930s.
