J. W. Brimage was a private detective in Blaine, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. Brimage asked for J. L. McCorkle to see Jim Kyle and acquire information about Sam and Dave Fortner. Jim knew these men in Joplin, Missouri. Brimage thought the men were of bad character and had dirt somewhere. Letter signed J. W. Brimage. Folder 542
