Letter from Chilly McIntosh, Intullifkey McIntosh, Ben Danlausau, and [Jin] Danlausau, Washington, to James Barbour, Secretary of War. Asking for removal of Col. John Crowell, agent to the Creek Nation. Discusses murder of Gerneral McIntosh and Etommetustunnugee by a hostile party following a council of the nation. Also discusses the forceful signing of the Treaty at the Indian Springs. Signers are begging the president to send an agent in fear that General McIntosh will be sacrificed if no action is taken.
