Curatorial Remarks

Date should be changed from mid-20th century to 1951, as per a letter from Blue Eagle to Thomas Gilcrease on June 14, 1951, he delivered the edited map to Gilcrease that week. From their conversation, it appears that this was indeed a study for a mural that TG wanted Blue Eagle to complete in the building, but it is unclear if that ever happened. The white lines throughout are edits that Blue Eagle made based on TG’s feedback, and the text at the bottom center was provided by TG himself.
